During the tour, each bike received a tree to be transported, which was additionally illuminated by the wireless headlights. Due to the long battery life of the Astera headlights, the trees could be illuminated without interruption during the entire tour. After the tour, the trees were deposited at the destination and immediately adorned the terrain. Every year, the "Tour de Création" series of events in a different neighbourhood focuses on Basel's creative workers and links all the actors and interested parties together. 16 studios around Rheingasse and Utengasse opened their doors on the evening of 13 September 2018. Under the motto "Getting things set in motion", an intimate atmosphere with creative minds awaited the visitors.
