Velux’s innovation was once again on show at this year’s Swissbau. From a technical perspective, the booth’s virtual-reality attic and controllable content made it stand out from the crowd.
This is the second time that Winkler has provided services to Velux; on this occasion delivering technical audio-visual support to the renowned roof-window manufacturer. In addition, Winkler implemented a technical solution to adjust the controllable content through a system of rotary switches. According to the set-up, this activated different content along with the appropriate sound and an illuminated neon sign. For instance, it allowed the effect of humidity on a window to be simulated and demonstrated. An attic with a variety of windows / window configurations was brought to life in the VR room.
