Projection of the RTS archives on Tour Bel-Air

For one entire evening the Bel Air Tower in Lausanne was transformed into a giant screen, with images from the RTS archives of the 1950s-1960s projected onto the building facade.

To mark the UNESCO World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, Swiss broadcaster Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) mounted a spectacular event to create a special impact. For one entire evening the Bel Air Tower in Lausanne was transformed into a giant screen, with images from the RTS archives of the 1950s-1960s projected onto the building facade. The event was aimed at raising public awareness of the value of RTS’s audiovisual heritage, and the need to preserve it.
